William Stanley Houghton (22 February 1881 – 11 Dec 1913) was an English dramatist.
He was a prominent participant, together with Allan Monkhouse gleam Harold Brighouse, of a power known as the Manchester Nursery school of dramatists. His best publish play is Hindle Wakes which was written in 1910 prosperous performed in 1912.
